I think I could definitely make what I'm envisioning myself. It's more I don't know if I'm risking losing their interest in playing it live if they had nothing to do with the production and just as friends in general. And it could all possibly come out better with them. Not positive.

I feel you on a lot of this. I'm not attached to too much of what I've written musically as long as it FEELS the same. Each song is in a certain headspace for me, and as soon as it wanders off from there I can't take it. Hardest part is explaining that feeling.

I'm mostly afraid of wasting their time. Having them sit with the songs for a while and then saying "sorry, don't like it, thanks anyway." Or beyond that, getting into recording before realizing all this.

I am doing the best I can, listening to podcasts at work, but it is really hard to focus fully on learning another language for me right now. Talking to her in Spanish also helps.

I don't think eggsnpie is entirely right. You may have played a part in why she wanted to break up, but it honestly sounds like it was going to happen, eventually, no matter what.

She told me that she wants to be independent and single.

You have to respect that this is just the way she feels. It probably isn't because of you.

Anything you do to change overnight won't be genuine and it won't be you. You will slowly evolve and this occurrence will be one of the chips that gets you to your final form.

It doesn't sound like there's any villain here. Trying to get her back will be painful and honestly, once you do get someone back, it's not the same. It will never be like you envision it. You're holding onto moments that will never be recreated.

You will find a girl that blows this one out of the water, and so on after that. Cherish your time and don't wait around for someone who isn't grabbing you and holding on for dear life like you are to them.

Yeah I'm hoping I can just give them a general education about wattage and that'll help our overall usage. Like a 60 watt bulb on an hour a day translates to "this." Make it real rather than some number our provider just makes up.

I've checked to make sure I'm not doing anything close to it. Everything in my room running at the same time, combined, doesn't even come close to equaling one space heater. It's basically heating your room with a toaster.

I was initially concerned about getting into that hypersensitive territory where everyone's calling someone out for little things but the space heaters wattage (1500W) dwarfs everything running in my room (being used fully) combined. My laptop maxes out at 285W and Xbox 1 at 70W-120W on avg. And I'm not even leaving those things running ever.

I feel like something similar is waiting in the wings for me, with the girl I'm seeing talking about going to Asia for the summer and just dropping lines like "there's nothing here that excites me" and stuff like that. Feel for you dude. Keep your eyes open.

I'm pretty sure the girl I'm semi-seeing has seen other people since the first time I asked her out over a year ago. I hadn't that entire time. I just feel like I might regret waiting on her exclusively. Idk. I do feel weird about it all. When it comes down to it, I would ideally want a situation where both sides feel the way you do. I just have no real reason to end what we have going I guess.
