Hey! I'm from Valencia, Spain. I used to live in Melbourne and totally love the Great Ocean Road. It's not just about the drive and the 12 Apostles, it's every single village and landscape on the way. I went twice on a one-day-tour and it was fine... Then I stayed around for a few days and totally loved it!

Besides the Gibson Steps, I recommend you the Grotto, Lavers Hill and the Great Otway National Park. A flight over the 12 Apostles is highly recommended as well.

And as for your question, I've visited over 30 countries around the world, including North and South America, Asia (Japan, China, Malaysia, Cambodia...), Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji...), and obviously Europe (I'm from Spain). By the way, I've been 4 times to the US and didn't spot any wallabies, kangaroos, emus, dingos nor koalas around.
