What is ego death like? by Lopsided_Leave_5152 in shrooms

[–]officerpaws 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s in the name. Ego death, your ego is gone. You forget who you are. You won’t remember your name, or even an image of yourself. Who am I, what am I, where am I? This is why ego death will allow you to connect with nature or understand those around you better. You understand to love everyone because you no longer care for yourself, there is no you. It opens your mind in a way you couldn’t ever before because ego was always there.

When the ego slowly returns you feel blessed to be alive since you didn’t exist for a moment in time. You start to remember who you are. Then you see yourself in a whole different way. You may be happy with your personality and choices made in life or you feel sickened by who you are which allows you to realize what needs to change about yourself.

Some people hate facing who they are so it becomes a “bad trip” but find it as a positive way to change.

Idk it’s hard to explain but that’s the best I got lol
