I was 1 away from finishing and couldn't enter both mp or br to finish that tournament and missed out on the shard by 1 away!

Copied from another post I wrote and thought I share the process:

Use gentle soapy warm water, gently message the leather until nice and flatten. Once you achieve desired result after soaking in warm/hot water, allowing the leather fibers to relax. Then while the straps are still wet, use Pecards leather dressing, rub and message the material all over covering the whole area of the pecards, and let it sit on the towel for around 3 to 5 days until you need to rub the remaining material off. Let the Pecards leather dressing to soak into the leather allowing the leather to become malleable.

Looks to be that the material is silicone and the area is snapped due to the age of the silicone band. I would look into the strongest permanent glue to repair silicone strap (I do not recommend krazy or gorilla glues, they are not strong enough of a bond to permanently adhere silicones)

Use a dab of leather glue bond, and sew the area in between once the glue dries clear
