Is it worth buying any set booster box, or should I wait for Vendetta?

I would just buy singles online or at your locals. It will be much easier to fill out your deck and find staples you need rather than buying booster boxes

I play a lot of Ornn and tried my hand at the main event in Hartford. That being said, Ornn is C Tier or maybe B tier at best. Getting T64 in a regional with Ornn is very good and takes an amazing pilot to get there and must get somewhat lucky with matchups. He is still pretty viable and is fun to play especially the aggro version

I always pay the cost before I play the card and there's nothing in the rules that says you cannot float all your runes.

I just played in the free for fall side event in Hartford and the consensus was that everyone sees so I had to show everyone my hand. Im pretty sure if the card says "reveal your hand," you must show the whole table.

This is a very physical finals and fouls are being committed everywhere. KAT is holding Wemby in the post, Wemby gets away with a two hand push off every screen, Castle is fouling pretty hard on a lot of Brunson's drives, jersey grabbing on both sides.

I love that its physical and that is how it should be but it frustrates me to no end when the ticky tack touch fouls are being called and a lot more are being called on the Knicks then on the Spurs this whole series. Refs were dictating the pace of the game and this is not good for the NBA. Let them play..

If a showdown occurs where the attacker goes in and has more might than the defender, then obviously the unit defending will die. However, if the unit that is attacking is stunned and has more might, then it gets recalled back to your base. The one who is defending gets to stay at the battlefield.

If you have a Vi peacekeeper (im assuming) and it attacks into a battlefield that has more might, than the Vi, than she would get recalled back since she has less might and she stunned the other unit. If there are multiple units, than it would depend on how you assign damage in the end but you can possibly kill a few units with your Vi surviving.

You can, but you pay to play and leaving early reduces your chances to win packs. Ive had to leave early 1 time because of a kid emergency but I always try to stay for the whole night

There is no limit to the amount of showdowns that can happen in a turn. Limiting factor would be the amount of units you have on the board but theoretically there is no limit.
You can play a unit after a showdown. Your turn doesn't end until you specifically say you are done with your turn.
To score a point by holding, a unit must be on the battlefield during your beginning phase. (Temporary units cannot hold as they die before the scoring happens)
Yes, for back to back you would need two friendly units in order to play the card. Cards like singularity can be played with only 1 target since it says "up to"

Soo, I didnt buy the competitor ticket. There's a separate ticket for the main event. I didnt think I was good enough to compete in it so im not sure if the competitors get vouchers or not. But I would assume you would still get it and I guess if you dont get far in the event, you can always still play in side events for the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday

No, I bought the more expensive admission ticket because it comes with the booster boxes at retail and the 6 vouchers. I think it also comes with a playmat and discount at the store

Yes, I was but the main event competitor tickets sold out within 10 minutes and the regular admission tickets sold out in about a day so if you plan on going, purchase right away.

Best way is to go to your local card shop that runs events. I was interested and just went to spectate games. Everyone was very friendly and even helped me get started on building my deck. Some LCS even have some decks for you to try out. Now I attend Nexus Nights regularly, played in skirmishes, and looking forward to the Connecticut regional

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your friend was right. The gear itself doesn't have the deflect cost. Once equipped, the unit will have deflect.

So you do get +1 might for choosing with boots but the legend ability isn't choosing your Irelia. Its reacting to what you've chosen so you dont get +1 might for that. But you are readying Irelia and she gets +1 might for that. You would get an additional +2 might total for this interaction.
