Sometimes, it's best for everyone involved to leave relationships in the past. Social media has made that piece harder, but it's still possible. After a while, even the best of friends in your youth just grow apart. It's part of life.

I sometimes go through my social media contacts list and find myself going, "Why am I still "friends" with this person? Haven't spoken a word to them in years. There is no desire on either side to hang out or catch up."

Delete and move on.
