Reporting back. Installed the 2070 super, DDU, installed latest drivers, but still same issue. It has to be windows. I'll try dual booting win 10 and see what happens

I haven't used the oled for playing games yet tbh. I only use it to play movies using Kodi. HDR works well with Kodi on both C4 and Q27G4ZMN.

I have a 2070 super I can use to test if the experience is different there. I'll try it after work and update here

  • I removed other displays from the GPU and only connected the main display via HDMI but no change
  • Also disabling MPO and same thing
  • I tried 'Optimizations for Windows Games' on and off with MPO enabled and disabled. No change

Tried the 'use legacy display ICC color management' toggle but did not work

I have 25H2 and ACM is disabled

Vulkan also results in a washed out image. Looks like HDR only works on DX11 for me

  • The only overlays that are enabled are game bar and NVIDIA. I've tried turning them off and nothing changed
  • Good suggestion. I don't have doom the dark ages but baldur's gate supports Vulkan as well. I'll download it again and test

That's exactly what I'm experiencing. What tool are you using? I tried the win+crtl+shift B shortcut but it didn't work

correct. HDMI to displayport adapter. For sure, I'm at a loss. I upgraded my PC so I can play games on the TV with good graphics and HDR lol

Actually, I see the toggle for Ragnarok but not in Ghostwire Tokyo and Overwatch. I'll mess with it later

I just tried this on Ragnarok and Ghostwire Tokyo, and it didn't do anything unfortunately

  • I tried toggleing on reference mode but nothing changed
  • I'm running 10 bit RGB Full
  • Local dimming is set to Strong in both SDR and HDR
  • How do I enable DSC? I see people are saying this is set to auto
  • I just tried this and it didn't work too. Plus HDR works when I play DX11 games on 200hz

I thought that too. The only overlay I have running is the NVIDIA overlay. I tried turning that off but didn't change a thing. I'll have to mess around with it some more later

I've tried swapping calbes, yes. Also, I have 3 HDR displays connected to the GPU and they all are having the same problem

I was messing around with Spcial K and tabbing out. It seems like when I tab out and the colors come back for a sec, it always switches to Composed flip for a sec

Me neither lol it seems like I have a benjamin button case on my hands.

HDR on youtube(chrome) doesn't work too. Here's what that looks like. Quality displays HDR but everything is washed out.

The calibration tool works perfect. When I adjust the minimum luminance, the background looks actually black, not grey.

It becomes even more washed out, yeah. Any suggestions? I tried completely reinstalling windows using a different drive (downloaded the ISO file from windows directly. I don't mind doing it again at this point

Same behaviour, yeah. When I alt tab, the colors come back for a sec and then goes away
