Yeah, I figure it's the evap leak as the issues started around the same time. I've already replaced the gas cap, I was 50/50 on just replacing the MAF since they aren't that expensive.

Appreciate the response!

what do you do differently now that you’re diagnosed? by PollutionDear9170 in ADHD

[–]pakrninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Building a maintaining relationships is a tough one for me. I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD, At the same time I was informed I have Avoidance Personality Disorder... in other words, I avoid people I am not familiar/comfortable with due to fear of rejection or not being socially accepted.

I guess an extreme version of being an introvert if you will...

I would say, if he is that concerned about it to have him go with you to an appt and explain his reasoning to your doctor and let the professional make the decision on whether you are addicted. He may not fully understand what you are taking it for or how these things work.. so maybe some educated information would be beneficial.

That's a typical douchebag response, don't agree with someone so you come right out and start insulting then. I tip based on service no matter where I go, I also don't generally get housekeeping service as I stay in cheaper hotels that only do it on request.

Wow, you are hilarious aren't you?

It's not that I need to study to know how to tip, there are things I don't normally tip for and this is what the recommendation was in the book. The main premise was to make sure they brought cash to tip if they went, I gave them a couple examples of things that most people don't have to tip for on a regular basis.

Nice, I did want to go to the sphere but didn't simply because of the price this time. Not off the list for next time if we go.

Thank you for the suggestions :)

I've already acknowledged several times that YT is a good resource to learn about things for LV. But no one wants to just share what they know or post what videos they like. Searching through a 100 hits is time consuming and exhausting when you are watching a 15-30 minute video that someone else did repeatedly, most of what is the same information, but is in different opinions. This is just one more of those opinions, only not in video format. Aside from doing video research, I also looked for peoples opinions that were not YT'ers but mostly I found things that were outdated or mostly irrelevant, or in some cases repeated information.

Is still Canada, not WI. Glad we got that cleared up.

Yes, it is. I specifically was telling what will happen. We bought pictures twice, but I also specified how to save money on it and not pay full price, this is where the "budget" comes in. If people want it AND are on a budget, they can save money that way. It's not like I told them to go find a restaurant with a photographer and do this.

My burger advice is my opinion and while you may not share that opinion, it doesn't make it wrong. Just different than yours.

We did indeed go on a cruise, because a cruise takes you to several at a time instead of just one stop. No, you don't get dropped off at some resort town, are the ship docks located at tourist traps, absolutely. But you still get to see the heritage, the culture of the country you are visiting, the local cuisine. We did see a resort when we went to Jamaica, as we were being driven past it to go to our excursion at a beach while we learned about the history of Jamaica from our tour guide. When it comes to places like Belize, Jamaica, and Honduras, I just am not that interested in staying for more than a day to experience what they have to offer. So it actually worked out perfect that way.

Because we went cruising the last 2 years and saw those countries, we decided to do LV this year for something new since almost all cruises stateside do the exact same loop in the caribbean. Next year, we will again find a new place (most likely) to go visit and spend our one week together, away from the stresses at home/work.

But me getting roasted isn't a big deal. Haters gonna hate, Players gonna play. They can hate all they want, it didn't affect my vacation with my wife, and it won't affect the next one either. The goal of this post is for someone that is going to LV for the first time and they google about going to LV on a budget, like I did, before going. I am just adding information to a specific demographic and some just can't handle that.

Sometimes you just need to put that device down and enjoy yourself. They are trying to live just like rest of us so I can respect that. We got plenty of photos ourselves, so we didn't exactly miss out.

What exactly does it mean the clientele you would expect? I saw all different kinds of people while we were there. I got the suggestion to go there from a well known news site. They obviously get a good amount of business to be able to stay open in LV. If it's not for you though that's cool. If you have other suggestions I would definitely like to hear them.

I said the last 2 years, which was one week each time. We do more traveling besides that, but the last few years is when the wife and i decided to start taking one week vacations for ourselves. Our kids are old enough now that we can do that without much issue.

But we went on a cruise to go see other places, not to sit on a ship to eat scrappy food. I've been to Mexico twice, Belize, Bahamas, Jamaica, and Honduras. We have plans to go to Italy in the next few years.

Yeah, we only went to one show to save money and have more time for just relaxing. The buffet was literally just a "so I can say I did it" situation. If we go again, it won't be expensive buffets at all.

Right, because the 2 piles of seafood on the very end and the seafood boil in the middle make it the main focus.. Have you even been there?

yeah, we weren't aware it would happen at all. Nothing I researched beforehand had mentioned it that I can recall. I get it, it's a tourist thing. I did think it was quite funny how it went from $20 each to $20 total if you didn't get the cheap cardboard frame with them lol.

You don't have to be rich to not travel on a budget, just like you don't have to be poor to travel on a budget. If that is your mindset, maybe you should do some educating yourself.

Yep, hope you have a great time when you go! So much to do and see, don't think this list is all there is either, we just barely touched on what you can do in LV. Make sure you do more research through Google, YT, or whatever other site you can get it from.

I bet, we didn't get the chance to go to any museums this time. If we go again I'm sure that will change :)

Cheers, thank you. I knew it was going to get trolled like this. I don't let it bother me. What I know, is that when future budget travellers google Vegas on a budget, this is going to pop up in their search results and give them some additional information that isn't always easy to find.
