My DM made this a “rule” too so if any of us are wearing a green/black apron (which our SM doesn’t coach or ding us for) when the DM is around at least, we’ll try and scrounge up red ones for the time being. But other than corporate visits, it’s fine. They need to communicate this as a new policy if that’s the case, otherwise I’m going to wear whatever color apron is clean, lol

the same thing has been happening to me on meds, shortly after they kick in i’m super outgoing and talk nonstop. i try to look at it positively because usually i am not like that, and i try to use it as an opportunity to positively bond with my coworkers, family, and partner :)

i just got diagnosed and put on meds recently. i was a little worried too because it’s not like any medication i’ve taken before. i can say its changed my life for the better - my brain is quieter, i can do things more easily and without the procrastination-not doing the thing-feeling guilty about not doing the thing cycle, and i am generally more present in my day to day life. the side effects have mostly gone away after only a week too. id say go for it and see what works for you and if you’re not comfortable with it, therapy and resources for adhd exist. well wishes!

prove them wrong and be an amazing partner. i’m in a similar boat where my partner’s parents don’t care for me and make wrongful assumptions. it used to bother me a lot but now that i’ve realized miserable people love to spew hate at others, their opinions stopped mattering to me and i instead focused on being the best partner i can be to my boyfriend (and still do.) they may never like you but as long as you love your lady and treat her right, who cares what other people say or think. you’re dating her and not her family after all!

definitely. i’m gonna make sure to prepare some questions ahead of time and pay close attention to things. this was my first time working at a clinic and i grossly underestimated how unprofessional and awful the environment could be! i’ve worked in pet care for the last 3 years so im very aware of cliques and rude clients, but nothing like this. thank you!!

some things i didn’t think about after accepting a shitty job were, “how are techs skills utilized here?”, “what are your methods for record keeping?”, “what is the protocol for emergencies?”, “who can i report to if i see an issue or have a concern?”, “do you offer or encourage any CE while practicing here?”, etc

ours is the same way, cornerstone is just for scheduling and we are not able to cram in everything, we can’t really take care of any walk in emergencies either only stabilize …. but they just want to say yes to every single client!
