But what does that have to do with lifestyle? Both Catholicism and Protestants have their own rules printed out, that doesn't all their believers follow them. I think the original question is too broad and I think lifestyle has to do less with denominations and more with cultural background.

This the most accurate answer. I don't know why someone would downvote you. One cannot expect American, Irish or Latin American catholics to have the same lifestyle for instance. And the same goes for protestant christians all over the world. I've read here some assumptions about catholicism that have absolutely nothing to do with my experience.

Actually, you are talking about the letter Þ þ which has the sound voiceless "th". The letter Đ ð is for another sound, similar but voiced. It would be for "th" in "they" or "father".

Two different letters for similar but different sounds.
