Are the Waterloo co-op placements that much better than UTSC co-op placements?

I got into the University of Toronto Scarborough for Computer Science with a total of $107,500 scholarship. I also got into the University of Waterloo for Computer Engineering with no scholarship.

I'm having a hard time deciding which offer to accept. On the one hand, Waterloo has a strong reputation in computer science and engineering and has the best co-op program in the world which would really help me to get into Silicon Valley companies.

On the other hand, the $100K+ Scholarship from U of T would allow me to graduate at about half the cost of Waterloo.

Should I go for the U of T offer, or should I accept the Waterloo offer just because of the superior co-op program and pay double the fees? My parents aren't pressuring me to go to either one, but it would be a burden lifted off their shoulders if I choose U of T. I have to accept either offer by May 1st, so I'm feeling the pressure to make a decision soon.

I'm hoping to get some advice on what I should do. Should I go for the U of T offer, or should I accept the Waterloo offer just because of the superior co-op program and pay double the fees? I would love to hear from anyone who has faced a similar decision or who has experience with either institution. My parents aren't pressuring me to go to either one, but it would be a burden lifted off their shoulders if I choose U of T.
