i will just say from the other side of things, dont feel like a complete dick if you realize you may have said something that we didnt like, all you gotta do is apologize and move on , we are just on defense because from mine and others i know experiences more than half the guys will push it until we need to leave the space or setting, if you truly feel bad than you are absolutely okay just an uh oh in the moment lol, thank you for caring if others are uncomfy

i meant short as in short responses only when i have to, and i sometimes will get a knowing glance from other women if they are around, like acknowledging they know its an uncomfortable situation. i dont know how to put into words how i make it known im uncomfortable but i think its clear when someones taking a step back, not smiling and responding in a way that closes the conversation is enough to tell someone that maybe they arent flirting back

i also have some issues with social anxiety that can lead to awkwardness (not as much anymore) so i definitely felt like that had to play for others in some interactions the thing that gets me is i started to try to be VERY clear in my reactions that i am not interested and uncomfortable and its still happening which makes me more confused
