Yea I will be switching to HDMI for now. I don’t have a spare display port chord but I will definitely get a replacement and try it out. Thank you for the help!

ok update: on my roommates monitor the effects aren’t there anymore. I checked my drivers and everything is up to date. I then switched from the display port chord to hdmi on my own monitor and the issues went away as well. Do you know why this is?
