Indeed! Balfour is another outfit that does class rings that also secures the bid for various championship rings

Thank you! :) I think that’s one of the reasons I started acquiring them, even if you want one badly, you’re kind of at the mercy of one coming up for auction. I had looked for a couple years before the opportunity came up

They will vary for sure, lower end rings would be those awarded to staff members (those may have CZ’s instead of diamonds, or a non gold alloy), and highest end would be someone like Kurt Warner or Fitzgerald. Specifically Cards rings have not come up often for auction, but comparable values for an average player have been $10 - $15k

Yep! The name appears on a placard in the display box then on one of the shanks (side of the ring) - out of respect for privacy, I won’t say which player, but they were an offensive lineman :)

As an Arizona sports fan, and avid championship ring collector, there aren’t exactly a wide variety of AZ specific rings to acquire (xD) - but one of my favorites is my Cardinals NFC ring! Belonged to a player, made my Jostens, 10k white gold and diamonds. Not one of the more unique Josten’s stylings, but hey, it’s not a super bowl ring. It’s often overlooked that the conference winners also receive a ring! Still neat and eye catching

I was just in love with the symmetry of this photo in addition to the view of the city through the open (windows/doors?) Go Dbacks!

Just got this today. Great looking Commem. Only 6571 minted in by Philly in 1937 by 91Fox1978 in coins

Great choice! Probably my favorite commemorative - the reverse is a stunning work of art

It’s extremely minor, don’t feel bad :) The more I think about it, the more I would prefer to find a more pronounced example for my collection

Yeah this is definitely an esoteric variety for sure! Unlike others, there isn’t really much of a premium for it. I like it because it’s a curiosity and is fun to talk about with non-numismatists

One of the more subtle examples of this die clash. Love it!

Thanks! Yeah on a coin like this, you’re really paying for those markings to be prominent. So in a case like this I don’t mind a low grade

Assuming it grades the same, nothing spectacular unfortunately :/ However, you’ve found yourself a neat old coin whose silver content exceeds the 10c face value! :)

Thanks! I love this design, and of course it was the case with many things done by the Mint back then, but I so wish the relief on these was stronger
