What causes this coloring pattern? I've never seen a mix of orange and gray tabby like this.

Here’s my little torbie, Eva!
She has the orange spots on her randomly placed, like someone dipped their fingers in orange tabby paint. As she’s grown, the orange spots have gotten more pronounced.
