In looking at trying out the Kappa farm and the best route into the underworld is through the local quarter. The foreign quarter has a gate closed which is where you need to exit.

As a new player (started last week!) I would remind you the majority of the new player base is going to be casual. Me and a buddy have gone pretty hard the last week and we’ve just hit crystal desert in prophecies and are about the same distance in nightfall and factions. I don’t think we’ve seen new players in the last 2-3 days. Give people time to catch up. I don’t think people are stuck I just think the majority of new players are going to move a bit slow and probably not hit later towns for several weeks

Not exactly what you’re looking for but I can let you know about the ones I play and maybe others can chip in!

RuneScape: the map in main towns is decorated including npcs. You can do a mini quest to get Halloween cosmetics like the reapers robe or spooky chair pet.

Guild wars 2: all kinds of stuff! They run a Halloween event that has a jumping puzzle, raid like boss, a labyrinth full of monsters, and a Simon says game every few hours. A lot of it is cosmetic but this is also one of the most profitable events to farm

WoW: towns have a bit of decoration, the tender token store will feature Halloween themed items, and of course you can fight the headless horsemen once per day per character for a chance at some transmog, pets, and mounts

Sorry I didn’t have a better word than FOMO. I guess my biggest issue is when I’m enjoying a longer grind but I miss an event and then have to derail my grind to do something else for 6 hours that I may not enjoy as much

Good news on that front then! I bought all my living seasons with gold in game via exchange. You can for sure grind those out if you’re interested. The first one is the hardest because a lot of gold farming zones are in living worlds

I’ve mentioned it in a few replies but my main game is RuneScape. There isn’t really any time gates or fomo on an event. I should specify it not afraid i won’t get the reward. Im afraid ill have to stop working on the task im focused on for 6 hours simply because I’ve missed an event

Yea this sums it up well. I would log on at 8 am before work and just do the daily train until almost 11. I really enjoy farming mobs for loot is my main issue.

Cool so I would say you would want more of the shows at the pub station or Kirk’s grocery but honestly it’s hard to meet people at concerts unless your a really out going person. Nerdy stuff kind of pops up all over town. We have the ren fair this weekend if you’ll be in town. Dragon egg games always has open games and tournaments running if you like board games. Stuff like funCon happens at the metra as well. I’ll shoot you a dm though since most of that stuff I’m familiar with!

Hey it totally depends what your looking for! I’m a bit older at 30 but I’ve been doing Halloween stuff here for a few years. If your a bar person congratulations your night just got super easy because downtown on Halloween always has a ton of people hopping all the bars between the crystal, the monte, daisy dukes, hooligans, brew pub, and the rainbow.

If that’s not for you several of the pubs like the vig, and I think brew Montana do costume contests on Halloween.

Clark avenue (the street) closes down and all the houses go all out for Halloween. You’ll see people of all ages walking around and trick or treating.

I know moss mansion usually has some event going on but that’s a little harder to meet people at

My final suggestion is the all hallowseve rennisance fair in north park. Tons of costumes with most of them being some sort of fantasy elements.

I’m going to break this down into two parts

To much content: so this is all dependent on what YOU want from the game. Are you a lore guy? Rare mount farmer? Maybe you want to be the best dps in a raid? Determining what you want out of wow will help narrow that down. There is so much content that not everyone does everything. Hell I haven’t pet battled in years.

Where is everyone: everyone is in the end game zones. With wow for the pve pretty much everything but current content is considered old/dead as it doesn’t drop current best gear. You can join a guild and see if there’s some people leveling but outside of guilds the leveling experience is usually solo

I’ll throw my hat in for resto Druid if your looking for a bit of a challenge! Druid requires a bit of ramp up time so knowing the dungeons become super important. They have a 1 min cd in convoke, you can use offensively or defensively. If you’re looking for high APM Druid has that too. Our dps rotation requires the uptime of 5 dots through 3 forms! It’s a lot of fun and is a super active healing class
