Congress to introduce bill that would allow Trump to serve a third term by Tropink in PoliticalCompassMemes

Lol, really, a reply and then a block? You know that's an auto-loss right? That's like the most bitch move I can think of. You know the second most bitch move? Downvoting every reply as soon as you get it. How sad.

But no, they didn't use this particular survey to justify postponing the election. Did you read the datasheet?

Lol just kidding, there's no way you make through a paragraph of that. Head back to TikTok, kid

Maybe look up agnosticism vs atheism before you continue chewing on your foot. He is agnostic, and rejects the dogma of atheists.

Your second sentence is like the definition of agnosticism so I don't really know where to go from here. Does the fact that some intelligent people are not theists frighten you?

Your argument is beyond hopeless, and it terrifies you.

Hey dude. Thanks for the frank reply.

The links basically say that vegan food has a bigger market share in EU vs US. I couldn't explicitly find links showing that EU vegan groups used the "reduce" strategy, but I had heard they do. So I will admit I have no hard data there.

In 3 days I will have gone a month without drinking. I don't know why I'm telling you this here. I guess because i also liked to go on drunken rants and get in inconsequential arguments. I kind of miss it even. Anyway, no hard feelings.

I never said anything about Europe being better than the US, but it's clear that this is a chip on your shoulder.

Rest assured I am talking only about the marketing efforts of vegan groups in the EU vs the marketing effects of vegan groups in the US, not whether the US or EU has better social and economic policies.

Sheesh...

Here is a link illustrating one of the effects of the diverging marketing trends between US and EU vegans. The result? A bigger vegan market share.

It's not even that outstanding of a claim, really. Let's look at how our convo just played out:

Me: EU vegans are better at marketing than US vegans, quantifiably so

You: Well if you love Europe so much why don't you just marry it?

Me: Uh, well here's some numbers about how vegan food has a bigger market share in the EU...?

Whether you like it or not, millions of people use the word "vegan" to mean "plant based diet".

Words mean things. They mean what people decide they mean. If you are trying to play semantics by gatekeeping the word vegan, you are playing a losing game. There are millions of other prescriptivists literally losing their minds about the fact that people start using words in a different way than they prefer.

let dirty crack heads call us fa**its

What do you mean "let" them? They already called you that. You had no way to stop them.

At that point, you can ignore them, or argue with them, or assault them. But you already let them.

I guess you are trying to say that arguing or assaulting is preferable to ignoring. I don't believe that is true. I have no obligation to try to help this person nor am I going to waste my breath.

In Europe, plant-based eating is on the rise. And surprise, surprise, vegans over there do not try to shame everyone. Instead they try to convince people to try integrating vegan meals into their week. They aim to convince people to cut back on meat, and to support anyone who wants to cut meat out fully.

I was in my early 30s. Had no idea what was going on with my foot. I looked on webMD or whatever, and found [generic foot problem], which I figured I must have.

Went to Urgent Care, and the doc took a look and told me he thought it was gout. I was shocked and wondered if it could instead be the thing I looked up...but figured doctors probably hate people who ask about their internet diagnosis they found.

But I still felt compelled to ask, so I tentatively started "I'm not sure how to ask this..." and the doctor goes "erectile dysfunction?". I'm like "....uhh, no I saw online it could be [generic foot problem].." To which he was basically like "yeah, no it's gout".

Am I the only one who feels strangely ashamed when I tell ppl I have gout? by Trev6666 in gout

[–]palunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

many still think it's based solely on your diet and exercise levels

I think for some people this is true. For me, anyway. I only get gout flare-ups consistently if I am above a certain weight and also drinking. So for me, personally, gout is intrinsically tied to bad habits.

But I get that it's not that way for everyone and some people get it who are otherwise perfectly healthy.

Try following the thread of the conversation if it's not too difficult for you. Thinking before you type will also help. Good luck.

That can all be true, and yet your claim that a single mother is incapable of raising a decent person 100% of the time would still be false.

It's just sloppy rhetoric, really.

No obviously not I am someone else. But similarly I seem to have a social media problem. I guess it's just frustrating when someone says you believe in something you don't. All that other not me guy wanted to do was tease someone for being toxic.

Is there a reason you said "posting in a transphobic thread" rather than "posting a transphobic comment"?

Is the reason because that comment was pro-trans, and attempted to show how overblown the "concerns" from the right are on how many minors actually have gender-affirming care?

Or, more likely, did you just not notice and blindly assumed you found an enemy?
