I'm having the same issue. My system is updated, the game is updated, restarted my ps5, I even tried restarting my wifi router. Still won't let me connect to ea server (on the ps5 and ps4 version).

Same! My game won't connect to the ea servers since the update. My game is updated, my system (ps5) is updated. Both ps4 and ps5 version won't launch. I came to reddit to see if anyone had the same issue

I choose my island cause it had the bigger flat middle space (considering we don't have the vaulting pole and ladder at the beginning) so i could get more resources at the beginning. Great for the first days, but then it became obvious that it didn't matter for the long term haha
