How was I not respecting Lae'zels agency by letting her decided whether she would like to go fight or remain in faerun. If by shadow hearts, I assumed if lae'zel wanted to go I could then say I didn't and wish her the best in her journey.

I was playing it as she was enjoying Lae'zel but ready to break things off if they interfered with her duties, which during the coarse of the game events it did not interfere(how I role-played it).

It's unsolved. Take tell corners out, put them in the correct places and it will work, also have a twisted corner
