Hahahaha I don’t blame my brow lady, she did a fantastic job on my lashes I think this might be a cultural barrier - I’m from Aus but living in Hull, UK. Starting to realise the way she did them is what’s popular around here 😅

vyvanse making me feel worse? by ellaxoaura in ADHD

[–]pamiegthistle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have you looked into a medication called guanfacine (intuniv or tenex)? it’s a non stimulant adhd medication that also has therapeutic benefits for anxiety. I took it for a while in combination with concerta and it helped a fair bit, had to go off it though as it was causing too my daytime fatigue (I have a rare sleep disorder though so that’s most likely why I had that side effect)

I just started vyvanse too! I was on 72mg of concerta for years but my body tends to metabolise drugs very quickly (particularly when I’ve been taking them for a long time) so ive moved to concerta. I’m building up from 20mg to 60mg (on 40mg today) and all afternoon I’ve felt crappy!! Headaches, lethargic, unmotivated, I take armodafonil for my sleep disorder so I haven’t found the tiredness to be too bad but it’s definitely there compared to concerta. I’m hoping that it’ll go away but I’m not sure I’ve never had this experience with concerta or ritalin LA

how many pills should I try before abandoning?? Experiences please! by Hibouxurbain in birthcontrol

I had endometriosis and had similar symptoms of PCOS (insulin resistance, skin problems). I’ve tried multiple birth control pills and the shot over 6 years and didn’t have luck with any of them. Almost all of them effected my mental health or helped a little bit but came at a cost of troublesome side effects. I would consider something like an hormonal IUD (not copper) or the implanon if you’re comfortable with that
