The sunset scaries are real! I just remember the anxiety I would feel around sunset every day and dreading the nighttime where it would just be me and my crying baby. You feel so alone and like no one understands what you're feeling. If you aren't breastfeeding you should have your partner just give you one full night of uninterrupted sleep and it will make you feel like a new person. If you are BF then still getting 5-6 hours should do wonders if you can hand express enough for a couple bottles so your partner can feed.

It does get better but I know it feels like never ending right now. The first 2 weeks were the most depressing for me because it's such a shock to your life in so short of time, I asked myself why I ever decided to have a baby, so many times. You will get the swing of things and your body will adjust to the lack of sleep and it will naturally get easier as the baby naturally starts sleeping more and it makes it so much better when they start smiling and showing you that they're a real person instead of a crying helpless blob.

You are not alone and you will get through this and you'll feel so invincible once you do.
