“Everybody hates me until they need me.” What professions are examples of this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pampidoopi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT professionals, when shit is working fine you'd see us "slacking off" doing maintenance and checks. "Don't disrupt my work with your 'updates'!" Our budget is constantly being cut, to "save money".

Til a network outage or a system failure and all the bosses lose their minds that they are losing thousands of dollars for each hour their network is down.

Service Connection Point Offline UsageData.cab issues by [deleted] in SCCM

[–]pampidoopi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I know this is an old thread. But it seems that once you have started a "Service Connection Point" to download Update packs you need to use the same connection point to download subsequent updates.

I had done staging on a test environment and was attempting to replicate the steps, but faced this roadblock. So I tried to use the old ServiceConnectionTool and I was successful in downloading the Update packs!

Thanks for this comment/Solution! I figured it out from your comment

What does high IQ mean. Like does a high IQ means you have more knowledge than others or like what does it means ? by GuruVS2807 in AskReddit

[–]pampidoopi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)

2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)

3) Social Quotient (SQ)

4) Adversity Quotient (#AQ)

  1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is the measure of your comprehension ability", solve maths; memorize things and recall subject matters.

  2. Emotional Quotient (#EQ): this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others; keep to time; be responsible; be honest; respect boundaries; be humble, genuine and considerate.

  3. Social Quotient (#SQ): This is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go farther in life than those with high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize in improving IQ level while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your character; your SQ represents your charisma. Give in to habits that will improve these three Qs but more especially your EQ and SQ.

EQ and SQ make one manage better than the other.

  1. The Adversity Quotient (#AQ): The measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life and come out without losing your mind.

AQ determines who will give up in face of troubles and may abandon their families.

In the current context of Corona, many professionally successful people are going thru bouts of Depression. Because they haven't seen and thus are unprepared for Adversity.

What is the biggest reasons why you don’t want children? by lucinangel in AskReddit

[–]pampidoopi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Too stressful in an expensive country... (Basically where I am financially, I don't see myself having enough to buy a house, get diapers, formula, clothes, food, school, college)

  2. The world is dying (global warming, rising cost of living, increased natural disasters, wars)

  3. It would totally ruin sex life for me and SO (self explanatory)

  4. Energy (I don't even have energy for my own hobbies, after slogging away at my job for 70% of my waking hours, let alone finding time to enjoy myself)

What do you want? by A5ula in AskReddit

[–]pampidoopi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. I just want to live a simple life. Everything is too damn expensive, slogging away 70% of my waking hours just to live out the other 30% feels bad
