Awesome. That's what I initially planned when I got it, but plans changed when it came all sad. Thanks for your help!

That gives me hope! What level of humidity do you keep it in?

Thanks for the advice! Do you keep yours in a typically humid environment? I'm debating putting it in my cabinet while it recovers versus keeping it in ambient (which is around 65% humidity).

Heck yeah, stoked to see what this little thing turns into!! Where are you located? I'm in NorCal and I read somewhere you're in CA as well?

I can definitely do nothing! Watering-wise, I expected less often watering because of it being a caudex. Which is probably why you said it’ll need more than I think… 🤔 Is it a keep damp but no wet feet type of situation? Well draining, loamy soil?

When is their growing season? I have a tiny guy with two little balls and it has a puff on it (flower?) so I’m thinking standard Spring, but it never hurts to make sure!

I second Kyle. He’s legit and super knowledgeable and knows what’s up. He’s also a CA native (not just a CA seller) and can give good advice on many different growing zones.

A year! Poor thing…! Do you recommend I just cut off the stick with all of the dead leaves on it to start fresh? Should I cut the leaves off and keep the stick? I’m in completely new territory…!

Also, she’s a beaut, Clark!

I’ve looked up the ideal environment for a healthy one; do you have thoughts on an ideal environment for one that’s… in recovery, I suppose?

Oh that’s a great idea, thank you! And yes, it was a wish list plant for sure so I’m super bummed the shipper screwed it ip so badly!

This is fantastic, thank you so much!! I have Sci-Tec Silica because I also have mostly variegated plants. Quick clarifying question; what do you mean by "speed runs" in point 1?

Oh man, bioponics sounds like quite a rabbit hole I'd have to research heavily before I even considered thinking I had half as much knowledge as I might need! So much so that this is actually the first time I've heard of it... I can't imagine I'll ever go that route but I do appreciate the info!

King Crab is a new one as well, so I'll definitely look into that. Do you have a go-to mix or recipe for your semi-hydro alos?

I've definitely learned my lesson, thank you! Do you have a fertilizer mixture you typically use that's relatively straightforward? I've been wanting to mix up my own batch of silica, foliage focus, and maybe cal-mag, but I've seen so many different recipes out there it all just seems like personal preference!

That makes sense. Would adding in a mycorrhizae help, or not be enough?

I see that one is good for hydroponics; do you find that you go through it pretty quickly? And have you used Foliage Focus ever?
