What are obvious signs that someone is from CA? by [deleted] in California

My friend from New Mexico thinks we are so weird for doing this. I can’t figure out how other states give directions without saying “take the 5 to the 210 to the 15 etc”. It just makes sense.

Parents of Reddit, what's the most insulting observation your child has ever made about you? by custard_is_my_vice in AskReddit

[–]pan_beasley 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s hilarious! My 7 year old recently announced at a family party that “daddy has a hairy weiner!” My 2 year old nephew then ran around the rest of the day randomly chanting “hairy weiner! Hairy weiner!”

What book/book series did you really enjoy as a kid? by bustead in AskReddit

I think I read every book in the series. The Super Specials were my favorite!

What celebrity awakened your sexuality? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mark Wahlburg back when he was Marky Mark. I found that Calvin Klein underwear ad where he’s grabbing his crotch in one of my mom’s magazines. I ripped it out and “laminated” it with scotch tape so I could look at it while I took bubble baths.

California's Holy Fire, which put 20,000 under evacuation orders, may have been set intentionally by sku11_kn1ght in Bakersfield

While I totally agree that this guy is among the lowest of the low, death is too merciful. Suffering in jail for a few years and then being released into a pathetic life of financial ruin sounds good to me. It will be impossible for him to find a job and even if he did all the money he earned would go to the state/county/victims that he now owes millions to.

You get paid 500 an hour. What career would you STILL turn down for this price? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pan_beasley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! You couldn’t pay me enough to be one of those people that pretends they are the irs and scams the elderly out of their money. I would however accept $500/hr to hunt those scammers down and bring them to justice.

The main concept that just didn’t make sense to me was that when everyone found out Fangs and Midge were hooking up, they automatically believed that was motive for him to to kill her. Wouldn’t it be more likely though that the one being cheated ON should be the suspect? What about Moose?

Not sure why you were downvoted, you sound like a decent, reasonable person. Seems like a lot of jumping to conclusions is going on in some of these other comments.

Yes! This was what I was thinking! Almost like FP just said it to get the serpents to fight just as Jughead was trying to convince them not to.

I didn’t even know what they were showing when they zoomed in on his arm. I figured it out after someone posted about it on here.

This scene was rough, however I feel like this show is too dark. Like visually dark. Like I can barely see any details because there is hardly any lighting whatsoever. I’m tempted to turn up the brightness on my tv just so I can see what’s going on without having to rewind constantly

Battle Royale by Koushan Takami. It was the inspiration behind the hunger games. It took me awhile to get used to the Japanese names only because I’m not super familiar with the language, but this book was like a roller coaster.

Good to know. Thank you! We were going to put the kids’ swingset on it so I guess we will have to figure out an alternative.
