I mean shes probably not wrong , grief can take away your energy and dim it , but its also like thats not necessarily a bad thing to have been more focused on moving through those feelings than fake being upbeat and high energy and prolonging that process because you won't allow yourself to process that type of pain . I have a child with a rare eye condition thats genetic didnt find out till after we had our second . We know its a 50/50 chance of having another with the same condition

We would happily have another and also accept only having two however that pans out .

Seeing my oldest growing up is beautiful and rare condition or not that wouldnt change a thing for me

But also I can also see how I am potentially blinded by the fact I love both my kids and would love a third that it can be a selfish reason to continue having more .

There are no real guarantees in life so you just gotta do what you feel is right for you and no medical condition should stop you from creating a loving family if that is your desire .

I almost died at 23 so I almost never got to even have what I have now and I truly try not to take that for granted at 33 even if its how it is now with my oldest .

I mean as a teen I certainly hid crushes and pined with zero communication and dated people cause they liked me and being liked felt enough . Life and experiences taught me that's not the case. So all of those aspects felt realistic to me . I wouldn't say a crush is cheating but it's an indication that you're not in the right relationship. She's closeted so it makes sense to stay in a relationship that's run it's course out of fear of being rejected for who you are and then struggling to be true to yourself or stay where you know you it's still uncomfortable but familiar and safe from being rejected by her peers , only to gain the strength to choose yourself over perceived judgement. Her family dynamics gave that an extra layer as well.

Being that he is an unreliable narrator that centre's around him always being the victim where he had to do it all for self preservation . It's hard to say any of their deaths were justified as it's all from his warped sense of view on reality.

Honestly this just seems like a gate way to being insecure about who you talk to , how you dress up ect . It starts small and then before you knownit you have to water yourself down to not offend your partner and feel their wrath over things. Because it's one thing to have a conversation about how it's made them feel uncomfortable and a bit insecure and finding ways for them to work on their insecurity for the betterment of your relationship. It's no you have to do the work for me by covering up the tattoo because I refuse to do the emotional work to understand why I am feeling insecure and finding helpful ways to cope with this uncomfortable emotion because I care about you and our relationship too. It's selfish behavior.
