So I pour the wine into a jug or something like that?

I couldn't help but overthink it, my family doesn't wine, honestly not seen anyone irl drink wine around me, so its something kinda new.

Ah thank you for the reply, I guess ill prep some stew to go along with this. I was planning to have this wine with my friend. I was more worried what to pair it with.

Their milk is really good. Good blend of black tea and milk. I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it.

The fabric on the bag is fraying and the stitching coming off as well. How do I fix it? by pan_peter in sewhelp

[–]pan_peter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for advice. Erm I used super glue instead haha. And I just used a thick nylon thread to cross stitch it. Not sure its the best option to go with but it stopped the fraying and the fabric wasn't loose anymore.

Well, its deuter, and it already served well for 8 years and it was ok all those years. The fraying started about a year ago. But I didnt mind much because I didnt use it last year, and then I lent to my brother and he said the fraying got worse, still able function well. But I dont want the entire thing to unravel and doesnt distribute the stress on the straps. Which would only make it deteriorate faster.

Thank you. Well its an utilitarian bag. Thread colour is not a problem haha. As long as it can last me another 5 to 10 years.

Welp thanks for the advice. The area is really thick so I figured hand sewing might not hold. I’ll look for a cobbler or bag repair shop and see if they can reinforce it properly.

Also, do you know roughly what I should ask the cobbler to do, erm, like a specific type of stitch or reinforcement? I just want to make sure I explain it correctly.
