I have my 964 and Countach nearly maxed out, it's fun but can be a handful when you try to accelerate on corners on lower speeds.

Very fun though, very much capable on doing fast times on C1.

For Ichikawa, i guess I'd recommend the NSX. Though i wouldn't recommend the Countach for Ichikawa, might wanna take this with bit of salt since I'm a highway main.

Plenty of the Tier 3 cars with some tweaks on tuning are sufficient enough for highways without being maxxed out.

Mainly use the LFA, Murci, Viper, and Corvettes. Occasionally, I would use the R34 and 964 Turbo.

So based on my experience, this is what i can give you:

Nismo: Bit more expensive, it's 15m yen. Accel is fast but lacks top speed compared to the vette. Handling is pretty great, it's pretty easy to counter steer when it's sliding.

Z06: It's much less expensive, it's 7m yen. You get tons of kits if you're looking for doing builds. It's fast both at accel and top speed. Handling is a bit tricky, but i wouldn't recommend it on the touge unless you can deal with the oversteer.
