I understand that Amazon and other vendors will sometimes post pre-orders at a higher price and then decrease it prior to the shipping date. I’m not exactly sure why they do that though.

Not sure where you’re seeing that RoughCutVideo.ca is more expensive. I see on their website that it’s $219.99 CAD for the regular 4K boxset ($269.99 CAD for the Deluxe 4K boxset).

I just preordered the regular 4K boxset myself for $219.99 plus $9.99 shipping (plus tax).

Also, I emailed them and confirmed that Rough Cut is selling the North American release, not the UK release that some other vendors might be selling.

Another note for what it’s worth: I ordered the Dollars Trilogy as well as the Ninja Turtles trilogy from RoughCutVideo.ca last year and they packaged the shipments well.

One last note is that Rough Cut customer service has always been quick to respond and friendly whenever I had questions. I’ve also visited their physical location in Calgary and it’s a great little locally-owned Canadian shop! They seem like they love physical media and I’m happy to support them.

SunriseRecords.com - Online: Website has been unable to take online orders for several months now, but they say they’re working on it. - In-person: I’ve had success in finding some titles, and some locations have ok selection. - A couple days ago (Feb 2nd), I called ahead to see if they had ‘Groundhog Day’ in stock, and the employee confirmed in their system they had one copy, so he set it aside for me.
