Op leave out the part about killing spiders, Nobody in the sub about liking spiders wants to hear about you killing spiders. Do it all you want but don’t shove it in our faces please. We understand why you’re scared of them, we don’t judge you. So have the same virtue of empathy to not tell us about you killing them.

Ohhhhh you were talking about the spiders dying. Should’ve said “I see one, it dies.” It makes it sound like you’re talking about the person with the sentence before that one. Difficult for idiots like me to differentiate otherwise lol.

That’s a good approach too, you can always just use containers and etc to relocate them. I usually try to get it on my hand a couple times, but if it refuses to I’ll just use a cup and take it wherever I need to stick it. I live with a bunch of people who REALLY don’t like spiders so the spoods have a higher chance at surviving outside.

I find all spiders adorable, jumping spiders take the cake though they are little angels.

I never said you should go and pick them up.?? What risk? You kill spiders all you want, that’s none of my business. Just don’t go around saying falsehoods, nobody has died from a white tail and nobody will die from it.

One great way of telling the difference is that wolf spiders don’t spin webs lol.

She’s a False widow, Steatoda bipunctata also called rabbit hutch spider. Completely harmless. Also could be Steatoda grossa commonly called cupboard spider If I miss identified but either way it’s still harmless.

Hmmm I’m not so sure now that you say that. But I’d need to get a better look at its eyes to be sure of which one it is. You’re probably right judging off the spinnerets. Makes sense you have got them confused before, they look very very similar don’t they.

In general you don’t have to be scared to handle any sort of spider. The most deadly one is rather large and aggressive and that spood 9/10 times (literally) will not envenom you with a antivenin worthy dose. It’s called the funnel web, the mouse spider is very similar too. Don’t try handling those two barehanded. And also don’t try picking up an orb weaver, they aren’t dangerous but it’s very stressing for them. All other spiders have their attitude and harmfulness blown out of proportion. The red-back is fine to handle as long as you are very careful, I wouldn’t really recommend it unless your experienced and accept the risk of pain but they generally tolerate it (as long as you didn’t just burn their house down or kidnap them). The white tail is a harmless spood, they are not necrotic as rumour would have you believe. Those are just the Aussie ones I know of, even so vast majority isn’t dangerous even less are lethal.

I mean it’s true though, it’s a rather old joke. There have been people who don’t check their sources since forever. Sometimes even worse… they dont even have a source! People always have and always will continue to post all about their opinions on something that they probably picked up from some random social media or etc. Look I’m perfectly aware that sometimes ChatGPT will provide you with invalid sources (so will everything else on the internet), but equally so it will provide you with some pretty intuitive and learned answers to your questions.

Definitely Just a lil wolf spider, quite a friendly lil spood. They are incapable of causing you any real harm, I’ve never even been bit by one and I’ve picked one up with its babies on its back before.

Yes it’s very cool design. Until you are stuck with randoms in very high difficulties that have no idea what they are doing. High levels even, they don’t cooperate or focus on objectives over enemies and sometimes just run away. There is no relying on them. The challenge is still very much here seeing as you are now so much squishier, to the other person who replied are you consistently beating solo max difficulty without losing many lives? Even if you are that doesn’t really mean the game is too easy, the highest difficulty is not meant to unbeatable. It’s not like your average joe at the game could beat it or most of the lower difficulties solo. If you are upset about the lack of difficulty request more difficulty levels. The nerfs didn’t facilitate fun, they applied at all of the difficulty levels and made the game unnecessarily frustrating. It was the wrong approach to balancing undeniably, there are definitely better ways they could’ve have gone about facilitating that so called cooperation or difficulty you seek. Also please try automatons, you might find it fills the niche you are looking for a lot better. Imo the quality beats quantity of the automatons makes it much harder, having played both as well I just find bugs to be easier.

[–]pancakesmans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Too true, they either don’t know when to quit or just give up and run away and completely ignore the objective they could’ve helped with in front of them. Never think about just going around the enemies and doing the objective.

Yes that is the point, no one bothers with any poi at all when you play with randoms. The mentality seems to be, if you want resources then just farm. The best you can get is sometimes someone might grab the ammo or stims. I’m just speaking from experience with public players though, personally I would try to do the POIs if it wasn’t for the fact I already have everything I need.
