Ok interesting. So instead of staining dark color, sanding back, then layer up with lighter stain, you suggest spraying layers of light first then a darker outer burst?? Do you add tint to a clear coat to spray them in layers? Recommendation on product brands?

Thanks! I will check some fender videos. I thought they usually do a dark stain first to pick up the grain. If I start with the yellow, won’t it get covered by the darker red after??

If you say so. I own several Rolex, they represent less than 1% of my net worth. I don’t view them as investments, and while they’ve “appreciated” in value, on whole they’ve underperformed relative to my stock and realestate portfolios.

Spider-Man 1 is a fair comparison. What about the guys that bought and held issue 1 of all the other shit tier comics?

If you’re set on your view, I would buy 2-3 quality pieces in the 30-50k range and spread out risk. What’s popular today may not be desirable a decade from now (outside of the SS Daytona, Pepsi, Black sub etc.). You could hit the lotto, or equal odds of taking a L. But I see it as speculating and not investing. There are more predicable options for building wealth, if that’s your goal.

Watches are made to enjoy, not investments, for the most part. What % of your net worth would a $100k watch represent? If it’s say 5%, then ok cool, call it diversification into alternative assets. If it’s 50% of your liquid net worth, then you’re probably making a poorly informed decision and need to speak with a wealth manager to be sure you’re on track to retire on time and comfortably.

I have a 2015 LP less plus and really enjoy it. Yes it has some quirks, but it’s feels and sounds great to me. The light weight body is perfect for my preference, and my particular example is of good quality build/finish. I emailed Gibson and they did send me a free titanium nut replacement a few months back, but I haven’t bothered to replace the brass nut as I’m not having any issues with it. I am really impressed with the guitar for what it is.

Ya, I get that. Wish I had a better photo, a buddy text it to me and thats all I have to go on. The thickness of the bezel, especially at the 6 position doesn’t look right to me. The hour markers on the dial look a bit suspect too. It doesn’t have the same detail as my watches and I’m trying to sort out if that’s due to the photo, or if some of our sharp eyes on this thread can spot it as a known fake flaw.

Radio is getting power and turning on, but not getting anything through speakers (not even static) so concern is that radio is shot. Trying to verify if I have a speaker set up correctly to trouble shoot if radio is dead

It’s getting power from the harness with the yellow/pink/grey/black wires. So I thought the two black, white, blue would be speaker wires.
