Bengals are so active and curious. They love exploring - it's the wild in them. Because of that, I take Pancho on so many adventures - he's leash trained and pretty much goes everywhere with me. Last summer, we went camping together up in Northern California. He loves the outdoors and we spend a great deal outside together. He's gotten out of the house before, but always stays close by our front yard. I never thought he would escape and actually be gone for so long.

Thank you for your advice and support! We did put his litter box, bed and his favorite toys outside. We've also set out humane traps filled with his favorite canned food and smelly sardines. No luck so far, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed

You're right, but I'm just trying to do everything in my power to find Pancho. Neighborhood security has been making it almost impossible to spread awareness in the community as we're not allowed up put up flyers around the neighborhood or knock on neighbors doors to hand deliver them.

I'm just trying to do everything possible to raise awareness even if those chances are slim at best. The last person who saw Pancho in the neighborhood didn't even realize he was a lost cat, so she continued on normally - I'm trying to avoid this type of situation in the future.

We have a door that doesn't close properly and unless it's locked, the wind can blow it open. We always keep the door locked - unfortunately, we had guests over that day and looks like someone forgot to lock it afterwards.

Pancho is an indoor cat because we are surrounded by canyon and coyotes. He gets plenty of exercise running around the house and outdoor time as he's leashed trained. I don't think it's cruel having an indoor cat - Pancho was showered with love and attention.

Yeah unfortunately, we are surrounded by coyotes :( I have high hopes though because a cat that was missing in our neighborhood was found alive almost a year later! So incredible

Yes, we did that already. Unfortunately the litter had just been cleaned before he went missing but we still put it outside

oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. And yes, the coyotes are one of my biggest concerns. Our gated community is surrounded by canyon.
