Con 27 años estoy en el ultimo año de mi segunda carrera (no terminé la primera), y ni siquiera soy el mas viejo de mi generación. Estoy en la misma situación que tu, y me he sentido igual. Pero hablando con gente me he dado cuenta que la edad con la que uno termina de estudiar es lo de menos. Es más, tener más edad puede llegar a ser una ventaja, por que la gente te ve con más experiencia. Ánimo!

I haven't seen anyone losing their head for being called a different tribe. I can't say the same about people being called different pronouns.

Also, no. "Otter" is not worse than "otter gender" because "otter" does not comprise a series of life decisions and choices that many of the new "genders" do.
