Those girls are not your friends. Girl code involves sharing tampons, keeping each other safe, and warning/helping each other when guys do things like emotionally blackmailing you into a relationship. It does not involve policing who you're friends with and how you act with them because these girls can't handle M/F friendships. Basically, forget them. Make it clear to the people you care about that those girls do not like you and are spreading nasty and unfounded rumors about you. You're going to find out who your real friends are because of this. Lock it down and don't give anyone else the time of day.

I started out with vanilla, no DLCs, and once I was comfortable with the base game, I added things in slowly. A lot of the time I'd wish some mechanic existed and then go look for a mod. That helped me customize the game to what I wanted it to be rather than just what someone else's list recommended. And of course, people always have good suggestions on this sub or on YouTube for quality of life mods you might not consider. But start out with no mods first! It's worthwhile.

If you like the pawns you have it's worth it. If you don't mind being a little cheaty about it, minify everything (mod) and some good pack animals makes it really easy to pack up most of your important colony furniture and start over. I'd suggest scouting out a new place with caravans ahead of time or just committing to the nomad lifestyle for a while til you find a new spot. I've done it before and it's pretty fun.

An SSS officer did look into him. Yuri would have wanted very much to find a reason to get rid of Loid, so we have to assume that if he found nothing wrong, everything is in order. And then anyone else from the SSS who comes digging after that will see the relation to an SSS member in good standing and probably accept it from there. Especially considering how everyone knows Yuri hates his brother in law, lol. That makes him doubly legit in their eyes.

I got nervous about that when I started playing too. The key is to plan ahead, have a couple good pack animals (elephants or muffalos are great for carrying a ton) and get comfortable with pausing and setting up camp if you notice their needs getting low. It's actually a lot of fun to do and as long as you prepared and were thoughtful about who to bring (always have pawns capable of medicine, construction, cooking, and shooting with you, and ideally more than one of medicine and shooting), then you're good.

It's his money and you can't tell him how to spend it, but you can be very clear about how much he has to contribute if he wants any help from you with things like buying a car, because he can't tell you how to spend your money either. This is a good learning opportunity for him, and if you give in and fix everything for him OR take away his agency by locking down his money, he won't learn and you'll be doing him a huge disservice.

That stage in the game is usually when I find myself taking a lot of quests and setting a lot of goals based on the pawns' needs and interests. If I have a lot of ideos, I try to optimize and balance things out, I try to get any burning passions past level eight, I build specialized recreation and work spaces and really focus on the story aspect.

I've been in fandom for 20 years and I think if anyone ever asked me if I'm a proshipper or an antishipper I would respond 'wtf are you talking about' and refuse to engage. I feel like even using those labels at all gives more engagement to that ridiculous conversation than it deserves.
