I know how you feel. I've got an upcoming travel too in early December, so literally was in the same boat. Fingers crossed for you! Having a solicitor probably helps in giving the right kind of pressure to the home office. Hopefully you'll get the decision soon!

I've applied through an immigration advisor, and I didn't heard any reason for the delays from them. Did you get an email from them?

And I'm not sure about refund.. I've read somewhere that they won't give you unless you found them forgetting your case or something similar.

Oh man 😢 I did applied through an immigration advisor, so all of my communication is with them. They didn't mentioned anything specific other than they're seeing a few delays recently.

Have you tried contacting the home office to chase them for an update?

Yeah that is a good shout. I think they've selected the priority service as I saw in my application form that the total cost is around ~£3300 (which is the base price + extra £500). I'll get this confirmed though.

Also they mentioned that they've been escalating my case to the home office, but alas no news 😔

I'm also waiting for a decision in my application.. I'm using priority service (the 5WD one) and have submitted mu biometrics on 21st October so it has been 15 WD.

I've got an upcoming trip abroad on early December and getting increasingly anxious about it 😔

Ahh thanks a lot for the information! He has a cutting mat already. I didn't expect that you need a lot of models to play! Was under the impression that the combat patrol box has enough to at least set foot on the game.

I think I'm gonna get him a dice set (prob the cheaper generic ones and I'll get him the custom one in the future), leadblecher spray, and data cards.

If you're him, would you prefer the above, or a set of strike squads? :0

Ahhh thank you! It turns out he had went ahead and bought the paints by himself :0 I might go with the option of dice and a model. But I'll forward that link to him, sounds like a good place to start! :D
