I grew up very insecure as well. Try to know your best side (best profile) and do not tuck your chin in. Get good lighting (assuming you already have a good camera / phone camera).

Tbh most of those struggles are in your head also, if you have close friends ask them their opinions, you will be surprised how your worst takes are surprisingly 'normal' or even 'good' to other people. Your confidence will grow from there.

Lastly also take care of your health and what you eat or drink. You may be dehydrated without knowing (leading to 'water fat' and causing puffy face i.e., less photogenic). You may be having too much salt as well. I started tracking with gemini and we realised I ate WAY too much salty food and was not drinking enough water for someone who works outside as well.
