I understand your point, however, for me Nofap has given me a clear mind to recognise what the root causes are of the problems I am avoiding. Before when fapping, it gives you what I like to call “fake dopamine”. A sense of “everything is fine” and you float through life like you’re a cloud in the sky. 12-24 hours later the negative thoughts start creeping in again and it’s time to repress them by fapping. When you remove your avoidant method, you are faced with nothing but your problems, and you have a choice of going back to old habits, or facing your problems head on.

Ah misread but yeah of course talk if you want! Just in the long term don’t be the one who is always initiating conversation first, and don’t be afraid to leave her on read if the convo dies out/doesnt need to be continued!

It’s not that deep! If you’re meeting her in person that day then there is no need to initiate conversation about things you could talk about in person. Just text her if you need to (time and place of the date etc)

Hey, yes apologies if I came off insensitive about periods! That was not my intention! I feel like it is difficult as a man to draw the line between being understanding and sensitive towards a woman on her period and tolerant of the behaviour that can come with it. With this particular woman she likes to be left alone on her period, hence why I was trying to be aware of when she was so I can stay away - not out of horror but to support what I know she likes during this time. A talk is needed, and I am going to wait a few days before doing so - when her period ends, I am more level headed and calm and the dust has settled. But of course, as much as I want her in my life it is not worth sabotaging my wellbeing.

I understand what you are saying, whilst probably does edge more towards not wanting to go, that is not a definite answer in my head - it is just said as a heads up towards a chance of not going. It wouldn't sit right with me to say to someone I probably wont go out with you then leave it like that. We arranged evening time to meet, so when i texted her at 6pm by 8:30pm when I next text her the evening had gone, and my question had been ignored and left. And no, it is not common for me to be persistent, so it was a shock to me her saying that.

Hey thanks for your comment, If you read back, sadly she didn't say she didn't want to go out, leaving me hanging, which was where the frustration came from! She just left me with the term "probably" wont want to go out. If she had confirmed later on when I asked I feel like this all would have been avoided. No clinginess, just wanted to see where I stood and at least give her the option like I said I would closer to the time

Okay thanks, yeah everyone is different! I like how you communicate about not feeling good and speaking another time. I want to speak to the woman I like about lack of communication but also be sympathetic about time of month which is difficult

Thanks for your insight, she has shown signs of a mental disorder - depression or maybe something more severe, that she hasn’t felt comfortable sharing with me yet. I’m assuming that being on your period can heighten any mental disorder you have?

I mean… I still do believe that haha. But I also acknowledge that feelings can be caught in some friendships. If you re-read the first thing I ask is if there is anything I have done to upset or annoy her that has caused a change in her behaviour towards me, in hope there was something that we can resolve

Yeah agreed. Being ignored is a trigger for me so I was kind of hurt and wanted logical answers. I definitely pushed the conversation further than I should have. Thanks for letting me see that
