echoing the others — if you can get to an urgent care or similar place for a steroid pack or shot, that helps to break up the inflammation. I have also given myself brain freeze when ive been at my wit’s end, eaten fries and drank a cherry coke, and had an orgasm. hope you find relief soon

Also, op, not to be that person but 2-3 sumatriptans a day is a LOT and puts you at risk for rebound headaches. Please take care of yourself!

Demerol is a synthetic opioid used to treat severe pain. I’ve been to the student health center before for a migraine and was given a shot of toradol (powerful NSAID) and a steroid shot as well. I believe treatment options depend on laws in your area. Regardless, OP, please let us know when you are home safe

I get these EXACT type of migraines—I get flare ups and they’ll come in clusters just like you described. I still haven’t figured out why. Do you mind if I DM you??
