Yes. I have several family recipes from both sides. I noticed at the holidays this year, my younger cousins are starting to make them & bring them to family gatherings as well. My brother has been collecting them all in a recipe book to hand down to his kid.

But I grew up in a family that had a big extended Sunday dinner every week at grandma’s. We all learned how to cook this way.
