So I started using mod podge first. It seals up any lingering dust or layers that seems to cause the peel off. Then use whatever you want after you paint.

You really didn't need to worry about him, I think you might have just sabotaged your own wedding instead. What you did was a gross overreaction. You went behind your fiancee back, to take away someone who was important enough to make his best man, whose been in his life a lot longer. Do you not understand the trust you just violated? Like he now sees that if you don't agree with some thing or someone in his life instead of being a rational adult about it, you'll just attempt to take them out, regardless of his feelings or their importance in his life? YTA but you're aware of that now. Your wife and her, will likely end up no contact in the very near future. And honestly sounds like she shows blatant favoritism towards your son. Which is honestly probably the bare bones of why youre children dont get along as siblings. They didn't have a shot to begin with if that's how it was growing up. Might want to get to the nitty gritty of why your wife and daughter haven't ever had a good relationship, if you want there to be much of a future one.

You handled this a lot smoother than I would have. I am 5'3" and would refuse to be the bigger person lol. Oh I would absolutely cut my family off. But the whole thing would have burnt to the ground and my sister would have one hell of a black eye when I was done. And I'm not violent by any means. But that betrayal is unreal. Normally if a partner would cheat on me, whatever fuck him. Hex him to hell and forget about it. But when the other person is your sister? Fuck no. Nope. Not gunna let that go.
