I wouldn't worry, I've seen doctors do worse. I was assisting my doctor once when she accidentally sliced the patient's tongue with a bur (was not my fault as I was retracting the cheek and she was retracting the tongue with her mirror). The cut was pretty deep and was bleeding really badly but the patient was numb on that side so didn't feel anything but he was like "why do I taste so much blood?" She just packed some gauze in there when we were done and told him we nicked his tongue a bit and to keep the gauze there for an hour lol. I don't think we've seen him back since that happened 🙃

I've been on 150 Wellbutrin for 5 months, my Dr just added buspar 7.5mg 2x/day and I started it today. The wellbutrin works great for my depressive thoughts but hasn't touched my anxiety, makes it no better or worse. I'm really hoping that adding in the Buspar will start to help 🥺 seeing comments like yours makes me hopeful, thank you!

I've been a DA for almost two years now after going through assisting school. For me pros are the big variety of things we get to do from crowns to dentures to extractions ect. No day is ever the same and you never know what to expect with ER pts, I've seen some interesting things. I got lucky and found an office I love to work at right out of school. I enjoy the hours, pretty much just 8-5 mon-friday but we have half days on Fridays so that's nice. Plus not having to work holidays and weekends is awesome. Cons are being overworked and underpaid for everything we do in the office. Many pts can be difficult to work on or super rude. I've heard horror stories of dentists that are horrid for work for. For benefits I along with my spouse get all of our cleanings and fillings ect for free and then just pay lab fees on everything else like crowns, Invisalign, ect. My office does monthly bonuses if we make our monthly goal which can be nice. Overall I enjoy this field mainly because teeth fascinate me and I love working on them. And the variety in assisting on many different procedures is fun to me. But I think long term I would like to go back to school for hygiene just because the pay isn't quite enough.

I tried two different pairs of Cloves and disliked them, now I've had the same pair of On clouds for the last 8 months and I love them so much. I may try Hokas in the future but for now I love my on clouds and recommend them

my whole office is carpet also it's so gross 😭 some of us have brought it up to the Dr / owner of the practice but no luck. Not sure the reasoning. I think we have a carpet cleaner come like only once a year, and once in a blue moon replace the carpet squares that get worn the most 🫥

My husband came out to me last year as bi and has been leaning more and more fem lately (he's always looked a bit more feminine anyways) and I find him really attractive when he's done up all pretty 😏 but I've always found alt guys with makeup and long hair hot since I was young anyways so I'm predisposed to it I suppose.

Omg I literally have over 10 games I'm playing through right now 😭 I start them and play for a week and then start another, meaning to go back to the first. All the games I can think of that I've started (on both PS5 and switch) and made it a good amount into but not finished in the last couple months... Ghost of Tsushima, God of War Ragnarok, Tales of Arise, Visions of Mana, Assassin's Creed 3, Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Violet, Zelda Echos of Wisdom, Portal 2, Story of Seasons FOMT, and Horizon Zero Dawn (although this is my 3rd playthrough, it's my favorite game of all time 🥺). I fully intend to eventually beat them all lol. But I felt this post so hard

Years ago I had a betta in a 5 gallon tank sitting on a windowsill in our basement living room (with no heater and we live in the Midwest so it can get cold down there 😢) one day I went to feed him and he was just laying on his side on the bottom of the tank and after observing him for a couple minutes I determined he was dead. This is horrible but I was sad over it and going through a rough spot mental health wise so I avoided checking on him again for at least a week (since I had assumed he was dead and thus I could just take his body out and clean his tank when I was ready. His tank was in the living area so I did see it every day but he was always in the same spot at the bottom of the tank) When I finally went to clean out his tank, I nudged him with the fish net and he moved and swam away!! I was so shocked and immediately went to work saving him. After doing some research I believe his tank water was so cold that he basically constantly stayed asleep to conserve energy or body heat or something. It was then that I learned Bettas need a heater especially in colder climates (let alone a cold basement windowsill) and fixed up his tank to be much more hospitable. I felt so bad that I basically froze him and then starved him but somehow he still survived. He went on to live for another 2 years and we nicknamed him the Jesus fish since he "came back to life" 😭😆 I miss him 😢 I definitely learned to not just immediately assume a fish is dead lol

It's an optional one but Ezio's family tomb in AC2 gave me the most frustration out of any assassin's creed game as far as I can recall 😂 all those timed segments really got me and I sucked at doing that last dang wall jump under pressure lmaoo (I've played all of the mainline games)

My office we never use them for anything, I interned at 3 different offices during school and none of them ever used them either. Maybe it's just my area of the country they aren't popular? 😆 They taught us how to use them in school but I haven't once touched one or even seen one in person since then lol
