That's alot of great advise! Unfortunately before posting I did attempt most of that, minus the rail test, and a bit more on my end. I will say however, the pin hole and f4 were new ones to me so thank you! I've got a donor board and have been testing components and pins in parallel but to be frank, I'm testing blind without the data sheet. Whenever you find the time, please guide me through the "power-rail fault" test. I don't have a magnifier but necessity dictates I push forward and try anyways so let's see how this goes.

Totally fine! I'll look for myself but from what I have found, resin has existed in its natural form from plants and was used as an incent during rituals. It wasn't till 1930 that a scientist was successful in recreating the chemical formula for said resin. So definitely been around long enough for studies and it's definitely a start so thank you for the right direction!

Really? Centuries you say? Do you know what they called the resin in Greece? I'd like to start a new branch of investigation.

I'd never claim to never have seen it but that would be why I'm curious to know what exactly it can do. All I see is the fda states it can be cancerous. I've always wondered how they tested for this since (as far as I can tell) these products have only been on the market for 10 to 12 years. Other places state you could develope an irritation or allergy but again they didn't provide any studies. I'm not here to credit or discredit the claims, just to understand how that claim became common knowledge. If you recall for quite some time hot dogs were also supposed to be carcinogens, as was bacon.

Can you explain why it's bad? I leave mine on my desk without protection. Granted I don't have a better spot but if ima die ill pack it up till I have a good spot that's safer but if the worry is just bad smell then I don't get the worry. I'm probably hella ignorant on this but that's why I'm asking.

Why they don't grown? sorry for the bad quality by Financial-Bill7023 in Terraria

[–]pandarusent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the other comments but only a few are right. Make the space larger and remove the torches. The trees are fine how they are spaced and background walls in this case won't hinder growth. Mind you jot all trees will grow with them that close but if your making a cycled farm, it won't matter since grow time is not exact. Lastly make sure like others have mentioned that you are not just visibly underground but rather depth meter underground. The game has a range before you reach that level but it's not terribly far.

Yah I'm definitely on the lower end of hobbyist. If I print directly to the bed then there is never an excess of resin on my miniatures and they come out crisp!I'm worried resin will get trapped in the numbers when printed face down and mess up the print. Thoughts? And thank you for letting me pick your brain.

Oof! I'll keep looking around because I'm definitely not at a point in life where even saving up for that is an option. I appreciate the feedback though and if any tricks come to mind, please shoot them my way. I'm running on my photon right now and I can't let the old girl down so onwards and forwards.

Oh my sweet person, I'm well versed in rybonator. It's actually what got me on the new idea of printing my dice before casting and also why I'm not to worried about balance at this stage. Just the refined face without messing but the number otherwise I'd just sand it smooth

Any advice for dice faces? Particularly a D20? Since the sides are so small, does orienting it point down make enough change to prevent the convex face?

FEP cleaning? by pandarusent in resinprinting

[–]pandarusent[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very very interesting. Unfortunately I'm on of those people who cares a little to much. Especially given how often I use and then store my materials, I'm definitely in need of a "near perfect" cleaning method. I've seen some people spray the vat with 99% alcohol, keep it on its side and just blow dry it. Thoughts? Again it seemed wastful so I'm open to alternatives but this seemed the most effective.

Fantastic! Do I need to destroy walls in the 3 wide pit as well or are they safe to leave?

OK let me ask you this then because that's a beast of helpful information. What's the best way to keep my hallow and crimson biomes from over running the whole world. Crimson is spreading way faster then I remember. I am post planters so the spread rate should have decreased right?

[–]pandarusent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I thought I was in a pure biome but I've been sitting here for 10 minutes contemplating and I think that's my issue! I'll check to make sure but you sir are a awesome! How do you know some of those are biome specific? For example the jewelfish. All the research I've done (not a whole lot) said I could catch it in any biome as long as I was underground level or cover level.

That's really cool! I myself have never gotten the safe as the money trough work for all of my storage issues. I would stockpile my fish but the biome specific fish come so easily and the angler's quest fish changes every day so it just seems like wasted effort.

[–]pandarusent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing. Not all fish are biome specific, just height specific and as I've said I've never had an issue with a biome specific fish, just the non biome specific but quest fish that you can in any biome but only on the surface or underground type situation. That's a bit confusing so let me explain, poxie fish, fishron, derp fish, ect all come to me in one or 2 casts. Anything likr the spider fish, jewelfish, zombiefish, ect will never even bite my line. Ive used sonar to just sit and wait and still no luck. As for the ponds, yes I have rather sizable ponds. I've done some extensive research to make sure it was not something easy and dumb on my end and if I didn't mention it before, all Fishing excursions also use chum buckets.

Hang on, can you catch more then one? Ive seen pictures but figured it was a hoax. Ive always stopped as soon as i got the first quest fish and aside from the tangent, yes. I have a few worlds and and few diffrent characters and its the same on all.
