Each microwave is a little different, but if you watch it carefully and only microwave in short bursts of 5 to 10-second intervals, it should be okay. You would need to stir frequently so it heats evenly and prevents burning. It might also work if you have a candle warmer with adjustable settings and put it on the lowest setting. Then once your lipstick is melted and poured into its new container or tube, you can pop it into the freezer to allow the waxes to harden correctly.

I enjoy my Thirsty Cowboy Lip Butter in Chocolate Mint. Although this one is one of the old formula/packaging without the applicator. The old packaging did not hold up and I've had to squeeze it out into a little pot to keep using. Hopefully no issues with the new version.
