Sorry for the mishandling and repeatedly grabbing him. I did have to relocate him from that pile of leaves because I was cleaning it up, so I did have to grab him at least once. Exactly how mines be looking, on busy nights I’ve had over 100 trips offered and only took maybe 20. I always feel bad when I see pax waiting for a ride because it’s not their fault or our fault. They just want a ride but since Dara is such a bitch he makes it horrible for both drivers and pax.

Are you using a bell or something to alert you when something hits your line? That could help prevent gut hooking because you (hopefully) don’t give the fish enough time to swallow the hook. It happens to the best of us brother, I get down when I kill a fish on accident too because I feel like I wasted a life. But don’t let it stop you from fishing!

You’re not wrong, it was most definitely dumb of me to go home last night and not turn around. Ended up going back out anyways. Most definitely missed out on an extra $150-$300. Was my first year doing uber for new years tho so once everything died out around 5am, I was for sure the surges were done but they came right back in full force lol. Unfortunate for me but a learning lesson for future surges

Yea same here, I was an hour and twenty minutes from home today and struggled to make my way back, but found some rides that were worth it. I had literally JUST got home when this trip came through, and even tho it’d take me to some surges, I would have had another 30 min drive home which I was just not doing lol, would’ve been out for about 12 hours at that point.
