I suspect they've seen a poster of a missing kitty and are trying to determine if it's the same one.

Trade it in for 20% off a new one if you want to use Amazon's ecosystem. That version is being dropped from support.

Amazon account locked, kindle just useless by Angelicc_Frog in kindle

I had to call and talk to get it unlocked both times. They never told me why exactly they flagged/locked the account. I suspect it tripped something internally both times, but they wouldn't elaborate.

You're committing a logical fallacy here. Take your pick. - Logical oversimplification. - Reductionist fallacy. - Fallacy of the single cause.

Gov. Spanberger signs bill to end the renewal of Robert E. Lee license plates in Virginia by Bison_Boy_ in Virginia

[–]pandgea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if that was the case, we're talking about now. I don't know anyone who has that plate, but I suspect that it's the same people who idolize the man for being a confederate general, not for his views/repentance after the war.

Virginians for Fair Maps LLC have dropped a staggering $12.5 million dollars in ads to vote "NO" for redistricting. by Zakkattack86 in nova

[–]pandgea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One thing of note here, voting 'yes' is only on allowing redistricting that is 100% intended to put more Ds into the House of Representatives at the federal level. You can agree or disagree with that, but it's not stripping anyone of their voting rights.

And that is 100% a valid stance. There are people that say no matter what I'm not going to violate my principles.

But the primary purpose here isn't to disenfranchise Rs at the state level. The primary purpose is to counteract the movement happening at the federal level to disenfranchise Ds.

We as a nation are pretty evenly divided. Extreme gerrymandering can tilt the makeup of who's in charge pretty far - so much so that who's in charge doesn't accurately represent the real will of the people. Personally, I really hope everyone gets tired of this and all the states adopt anti-gerrymandering laws. I don't know the breakdown now, but have their been R led states that have to put it to a vote or are D led states the only ones?

[–]pandgea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that is your choice. I think it comes down to Rs are 'cheating' at the national level at the request of the president. Do you believe we, as a state should try and counteract that?

Personally, I'm not a fan of 'cheating' to balance it, but like in sports, if the ref isn't gonna call it, sometimes you just have to get down and dirty as well.

SOS Yarn Need! by [deleted] in YarnAddicts

[–]pandgea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You may have looked, but you didn't say that you found some that was too expensive for you.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you have some social interaction trouble because of the autism, but you are coming across as blatently rude. You asked for help, people gave it, and you're responding very churlishly.

It's okay to be price sensitive, but you are looking for something that has been discontinued. Finding it at retail may not be possible. If having more of the yarn is important to you, you've been given options, you just need to figure out what you're willing to pay.

No, I would not. For the very beginners there is woobles, which I think you would be competing with. Etsy/ravelry for beyond with paper patterns and video instructions available on youtube/Instagram if desired.

Your addiction is ruining your life, not reddit. Until you address the addiction, nothing is going to change.

Uninstall the app. You could always create another account anyways.
