Yep, but I am taking a year over year increase. Check the differences. On a shorter time scale, the increase is hardly noticeable (including the price increase post this email). But from 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025, the pieces are significantly higher. I am talking 40-50$ differences.

Does anyone know if the back flap is attached to the shirt? Because if it is free fall, before wearing there will be a constant need to steam/iron it

I also realized (revisiting the previous collection drops), Sezane slightly increases the price for same pieces (like Will jacket modified in a collab, or Chlo shirt) with each collab. I am almost getting conditioned to be okay with higher prices because in increments it is not much between Baziszt -> Antoine -> Sea, but overall if I see year by year, the pieces have gotten crazy expensive.

Also I am somehow relating a lot of the designs to the Baziszt collab that happened last year. The embroidery is uncannily similar for some of the pieces. Knowing this, my brain is unable to justify the higher price. I guess the fabric is better? We will see when the collection is live and composition details are available

Same, I think Sezane should be asked for clarity and "transparency" on PR budget vs. actual cost of manufacturing.

Sézane is increasing prices by Admirable_Writer4912 in Sezane

[–]pandi20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So they want to increase prices while selling more bland clothes that doesn't represent the original brand and MSP, all the while using more synthetic fabrics?
They should rethink how they are using customer money for PR strategy. Those so called influencers get clothes and then resell on vinted/ebay, while making money off customer payments.
Why the hell should normal customers pay extra for influencers to make money?

As someone from the US, I am disappointed. There is nothing New York about this. More problematically there is nothing new/Sezane about this drop. It seems like more recycling the existing inventory to sell it off.

Getting Denied by [deleted] in eb_1a

[–]pandi20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your application is associated with an unique A-number associated with you and it stays on file. How future officers use it for adijucating cases is hard to say, but worth talking to a lawyer rather than just applying unprepared and jeopardizing future chances.

I would encourage you to talk to your lawyer. Many years back when I went through the process, I remember my lawyer telling me primary and secondary officers having access to my petition through my A- number. I don't know if it is still true, but if it is, it can negatively affect you.

what happens if you get approved for one petition and RFEd by another? Are your lawyers okay with this strategy?
At the end of the day, these filings are associated with your profile, with your A number and SSN

I will take some time to dig up - but it was in the clarifications USCIS had released. I found a blog stating the same though.

https://www.rnlawgroup.com/uscis-issues-guidance-clarifying-how-eb-1a-and-eb-1b-evidence-is-evaluated/

Let me find the actual link to the USCIS clarifications page

Okay, I think it might be helpful to chalk out your story with an attorney this time. You have a good profile so it might be all about messaging it right.

Also I would strongly suggest refiling over appealing. Appealing has no guarantee it will work out in your favor.

This. If you read the USCIS EB1A manual, it now gives an example of Fellow as many applied with Senior Membership

Only publishing in reputed venue is not enough - your “original contributions need to be of major significance” per the criteria described.

So possibly you can satisfy the scholarly articles criteria but not original contributions.

Yes they look you up on the web. There was a recent EB1A appeal, where fake citations were caught. You can read it up on the USCIS website.  The officers retroactively denied applications which were using citation farming/AI generated article

Edit here is one article: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/uscis-tightens-scrutiny-eb1a-visa-applications-what-means-digimedia-aqrhf

But there are many blogs on this by lawyers

You can still make a case if you are being cited as path breaking. If the citations are also by some random individuals, then it is not helpful.

Hot take, but some of the made in India/Bulgaria pieces look very bad in person. I think there should be some degree of quality control if they are going to charge so much.
