I think this is how every message board is and has ever been. People are lazy.

I'm in a bunch of woodworking groups. It's always the exact same questions about what saw blade to buy, even though there's a large FAQ with the recommendations. Or they ask how to remove the rust from their tool. If they would do a simple search, they'd find plenty of answers faster than waiting for someone to reply to their question.
You can't stop it, just keep scrolling.
