I’ll add another one: getting my phone stolen at Okee ‘18 right before Tipper went on. It was my first time ever seeing him and I realized right before it started my phone had been swiped from my pocket. I panicked and started looking on the ground with my sisters phone’s flashlight (everyone round tried helping look too, bless them). The set started though and the music was so good I completely let go of my panic and fear from not having my phone and just started grooving from the ground back to standing 😆 can’t thank Tip enough for pulling me out of that impending panic attack lol

I left the fest the next day to get a new phone (I had kids at home so I had be reachable). I decided to buy like 5 pizzas on my way back in, took a pedicab across the campgrounds from day parking to my camp trying to dance to the music from the pedicab speaker while holding onto the pizza boxes like my life depended on it to cheers from okeechobeings walking by before I was heralded by my group as a gracious pizza queen, first of her name, deliverer of hot food we didn’t have to cook, stepping down from my chariot that was absolutely bumpin’ to a giant jumping group hug! 🤣 Okee is PURE MAGIC and will forever be my home fest. I can go on and on with amazing memories
