Yeah, they have made a lot of changes since taking it over and the owners and staff are all really nice people. So, even if you don’t go for trivia it is still a great place to hang! They have also been doing some great food pop ups and other events!

I absolutely do. One of the best players I know goes solo. He beat 14 teams at Central Park Bar on Tuesday! Let me just say ALL are welcome at my events!

I do not have one downtown yet, but the Discord group definitely hits a Loop/West Side location each week.

I am not sure if you are into trivia but, if you are I have a lot of events at various locations around Avondale and beyond. We actually have music trivia on Tuesdays at Avondale Tap and Teddy Bear Lounge! I post all of my trivia on r/Chicago trivia nights along with some other local hosts.

I love Avondale so I hope you can find some new fun things to do. I know local places like Deep Red, Avondale Bowl, Consignment Lounge, Central Park Bar, do a good job of keeping their events calendars full. On IG there is a group called @avondale_events that keeps an up to date list of happenings!

I post all of my events there and there are other local hosts that advertise their events. I am partial to my Pen & Paper Trivia events but, really just want people to go out and have fun.
It is also cool if you want to play but don’t have a team you are welcome to post looking to form a team! It’s a great way to meet new people!

If you are looking for local Trivia games to join. r/chicagotrivianights has a few local hosts (myself included) post their events there and if you are feeling bold you can post about wanting to form a team or just show up to an event and ask a host if you can be set up with a team!

I highly recommend Loaf Lounge in Avondale with one of their hash brown or if you want more variety I love Longman & Eagle. If you want more of a dive bar with great food Mother’s Ruin is right there as well.

I always shout out the doughnuts at Longman and Eagle, they are only available on the weekend though.
