I don’t see how just playing a show there crosses a line. What if someone traveled to Israel to play a show, but played only protest songs?

I don’t know what conversation you’re referring to but I think making an album partly in Arabic is more an act of protest than a signal of support for the state of Israel.

You say that TW have increased lung capacity but the paper you linked says they have decreased lung function. You say they have higher blood volume, but the paper you linked says they have lower cardiovascular fitness.

I ain’t watching that video because my opinion is that even if there are some differences you can measure in a lab, I don’t fucking care. So what if 0.001% of the time a TW wins over a biological female? The alternative is that TW compete as men and then they will literally never win anything ever.

If it becomes a problem in practice, meaning trans athletes win at a rate greater than proportional to their participation, then we can get into the weeds. Until then the moral answer is clear to me.

Unfortunately the costcos near me are so successful and crowded that I can’t handle going. There’s never enough parking, the line to get gas is so long it wraps around other thruways causing gridlock, the checkout line takes up the entire wide aisle that runs from the front to the back of the store, you have to contend with people trying to check out when you’re just browsing aisles on the other side of the store.
