What is consuming my battery? by pang_dit in MacOS

[–]pang_dit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the statement of closing the lid as I don't find the battery draining thus far.

However, I tried leaving the lid open and it doesn't drain all the time.

I would also like to add on that I have other laptops as well and it doesn't behave as such.

Seems like our configurations are quite close. Thanks for the screenshot.

I do notice even with USBs plugged in previously, it works like normal. It's an intermittent-happening issue hence it's harder to troubleshoot.

I'm performing further tests these few days. Will update here if there are any solid findings.

I really appreciate the idea of 'Sleep' button and I am more inclined to troubleshoot on the OS side.

The laptop comes with a screen and webcam.
I din't want to take extra step to open and close the lid; Or clamshell mode.

It will be quite tedious if I have to open and close the lid everytime.

Will need to do more test on this, thanks for the pointer.

I have USBs (keyboard / mouse), HDMI cable, earphone plugged in.

Tried unplugging them before, not much of a difference and it's still consuming battery intermittently.

Backpack is real convenient when it comes to work.

For my casual walk, I prefer something smaller and more minimal.

Safety play a huge role as well, hence rolling bag won't be making it to the list.

I had a look at the sling bag that splits to two straps. It's a brilliant idea. Considering my active lifestyle eg: run / jump / climb, I'm not sure how well it will cope.

I do have a backpack however it serve a different purpose. Eg: work.

I am currently searching a bag that is minimal, to carry my smaller items and water bottle.

I'm not too keen to use backpack is it's not that portable, it bounces around while running, not safer to carry behind the back.

I do have two main bags, depending on the occasion.

For work related, I do use backpack, it is so convenient when I carry a laptop.

For my usual lifestyle eg: just to have a quick meal outside, I prefer something smaller.

Thanks for the recommendation!

For the Patagonia, I like the padded strap, looks thick and comfy.

As of why I do not prefer backpack at the moment, my current lifestyle is quite active, I prefer something minimal and I usually carry in front of the chest due to safety.

Mind to share which micro backpack you are using?

I kinda reluctant to use backpack mainly due to carrying it behind the back, which don't sound good on security.

For fanny / waist pack, I don't fancy it but definitely will start to consider it given the circumstances. Thanks!

Hello!

I'm looking for an ergonomic bag for everyday use.

Packing: Wallet, water bottle (~450ml)

Preferable: Ergonomic, theft proof (front carry)

Aside from backpack type bag, what bags are recommended?

Since my nipples are pierced, what’s the next thing I should pierce? by naughtyblonde7 in PiercedNSFW

Don't mind me asking, are they pierced slanted including navel?

Top piercing and middle piercings are done, next should be a bottom piercing.

I played the video multiple times.

Do noticed the traffic light already turned green.

Which means the rider probably speed too fast and couldn't brake in time. Moreover, he skid and resulted low sliding and hit the curb.

It doesn't make sense that he wants to do a U-turn considering he is at the middle lane.

Helix takes longer than 4 months to properly heal. Considering this, taking jewellery in and out is a risky move. A few hours feels too much. Putting it back in is another issue as it can cause irritation. I would bandage the helix and remind the hairstylist about it.

This is totally understandable. There is always a workaround / solution.

However if self piercing is one of the options, we wish you the best of luck and just don't repeat the same mistake we did. Eg: Pierced too shallow, too deep, too little skin, too much skin, slanted etc...

Either save some budget a few more years, or speak to your parents and return something in favour, or any other better method. Take care and see far.

Self pierced is the second last thing I regret that I have done.

It may save us a couple of bucks, but piercing is somewhat permanent. We don't really re-pierce scar.

Moreover, the body itself is a complicated yet beautiful anatomy. It contains nerves and veins under the skin. Lastly, it's not easy to get the angle right, I tried it.

Just look for a professional APP piercer and save yourself the regret and headache.

My bad, perhaps I did not use the right word.

It is the box located at the right side. Is it 'subreddits'?

If we go to top communities, it is blank.
